The offering of spiritual direction is a tradition
among the Oblates of St. Joseph, starting with their Founder, St.
Joseph Marello. Inspired by the vision of their Founder who saw
that St. Joseph offered a pathway of unique closeness to Christ by
means of a humble and hidden life and an especially intense personal
union, the Oblates seek to be available to others seeking a closer
union with the Lord.
Fr. Finn has been personally called upon by
priests, religious seminarians and laypeople of all ages to assist
them. It currently comprises one of his main apostolates in
Hazleton.
